A brilliant, new set of three professional kitchen knives from the Izumi Ichiago Meister series. This set is a masterful blend of classic Japanese shapes and modern European requirements, designed by the well-known German knife designer and author Ernst Siebeneicher-Hellwig. Premium Materials and Craftsmanship: Japanese High-Carbon Steel: The knives are made from high-quality Japanese carbon steel with a hardness of 56-58 Rockwell (HRC). This ensures exceptional sharpness that remains long-lasting. V-Grinding: Each blade is equipped with a traditional Japanese V-edge, enabling surgical precision in cutting and simplifying sharpening with a whetstone. Tecaran Handles: The ricasses are made from truly dark Tecaran, a material that is extremely resistant to both heat and moisture. The ergonomic oval shape ensures a smooth and secure grip. Unique Details: Hygienic Design: The knives feature a steel end cap and a seamless transition between blade and handle, guaranteeing the highest hygiene standards in the kitchen. Authenticity: The name "Izumi Ichiago" is engraved in Japanese characters on the metal bolster cap of each knife. Region: Manufactured with unique technologies from the renowned Sakai/Izumi region, Japan. Contents of the Set: Large Chef’s Knife (Gyuto/Santoku style): For all major slicing tasks. Universal Paring Knife: For fine trimming. Turner/Peeling Knife: For utmost precision. Condition and Documentation: The set is in absolute new condition and is delivered in the original gift packaging including the original certificate of authenticity with maintenance and sharpening instructions. Note: To preserve the quality of the high-carbon steel and the Tecaran handle, these knives must never be cleaned in a dishwasher.
