Jack GAGE (1946) - Blue Contemplation A striking and decorative work by Jack Gage, in which two human figures are constructed from a powerful red-and-white and blue-and-white chessboard pattern. The two figures seek to come closer to each other, creating a strong interplay between color, geometry, movement, and intimacy. The pronounced red and blue contrasts especially beautifully with the dark background and gives the work, seen from a distance, a strong visual presence. The chessboard structure follows the contours of the bodies and enhances the sense of volume and motion. The combination of contemporary imagery with a playful, sensuous composition makes this a true eye-catcher in both modern and eclectic interiors. The work is signed at the bottom and offered including the pictured frame. Artist: Jack Gage Dimensions without frame: 60cm x 90cm Dimensions with frame: 67cm x 97cm Style: Neo-pop / contemporary cubism Equipped with a stylish gallery frame The work comes with a certificate of authenticity. The certificate accompanies the painting. Careful and prompt worldwide shipping.
