James Bond 007: The Spy Who Loved Me - Roger Moore

A highly collectible 1:43 scale diorama featuring the iconic Lotus Esprit submarine car, famously featured in the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me (1977). The model reproduces the legendary white Lotus Esprit, one of the most recognisable vehicles in the entire James Bond franchise. In the film, the car could transform into a fully operational submarine, creating one of the most memorable sequences in 007 cinematic history. Presented on a beautifully detailed underwater diorama base, the model is surrounded by a carefully recreated aquatic environment featuring textured water, rocks, seabed details and underwater vegetation. The scenic setting enhances the appearance of the white Lotus and makes the piece particularly striking when displayed. The 1:43 scale model features numerous finely reproduced details, including the characteristic white bodywork, black louvred windows, roof-mounted equipment, submarine fins, side propulsion units, rear stabilising fins and distinctive wedge-shaped design of the Lotus Esprit. The rear of the model is also faithfully detailed, including the PPW 306R registration plate, while the underwater configuration incorporates the distinctive propulsion and stabilising elements seen on the cinematic version of the vehicle. In The Spy Who Loved Me, Q equips Bond with the Lotus Esprit, which is capable of transforming from a conventional sports car into a submarine. The vehicle became an instant icon and remains one of the most celebrated cars ever featured in a James Bond film. This diorama therefore represents much more than a simple scale model: it is a detailed collector’s tribute to one of the most iconic vehicles in cinema history, combining the legendary Lotus Esprit with an atmospheric underwater scene.
