Original heliogravure to the painting by Jan Mankes: “Two goats in Bosch” from 1909. The heliogravure is dated 1927. Jan Mankes is remembered in art history as “Holland’s most tranquil painter”. Frame dimensions: 32 x 22 cm Image dimensions: 17.8 x 14.4 cm. The heliogravure was printed in 1927 and published by his wife. A. Zernike-Mankes and Roland Holst. Publisher: J.A.A.M. Van Es - Wassenaar 1927. The engraving is in excellent condition and is supplied with a matching cream-colored passe-partout in the depicted slim black wooden frame (see detail photo).
