Jan Mankes (1889-1920) - Zwarte kraai

Original wood engraving of the screaming crow by Jan Mankes (1918), monogram in the block and signed in pencil. A great Dutch master artist, who sadly died at the age of only 31. The woodcut is printed on sturdy paper with black ink. On the back, you can feel the impression of the wood block. In good condition. A slight discoloration due to age. See photos for an accurate impression. Image size: 18 x 23.8 cm. Will be sent by registered mail and safely packed.
