Japanese Men's Kimono Style Overcoat, Taishö/Showa Period, Circa 1920-1940s, Japanese Men's Kimono Style Overcoat, Taishö/Showa Period, Circa 1920-1940s, in a fine black and grey wool jacquard geometric weave, combining traditional kimono sleeves with Western-style tailoring in the fold-over collar, concealed button placket, side pockets and three internal pockets, grey satin lining, internally embroidered with the makers mark in orange silk, an example of Japanese modernist fashion.
