Japanese Suigetsu (Suigetsu-yaki / Rakuyama-yaki) Shino ware Mizusashi / Water Pot, Tenjin Crab design. A rare form of mizusashi, featuring a three-dimensional sculpted Tenjin crab emerging from rugged rockwork on the vessel side. The pale cream glaze is covered in fine craquelure (crackle glaze), with hand-thrown horizontal ribbing, full of rustic wabi-sabi texture. Vintage Japanese repatriated pottery.
