All auctions / Glass / Jar (3) - Glass - Mouth-blown art object

The three objects are characterized by a very playful, organic, and typical studio glass design of the late 20th century: Form & Style: One piece features a strikingly curved, spirally twisted stem (cord or snake stem) and a wavy, flared rim. Color effect: The glass has an iridescent finish (mother-of-pearl or luster effect) that, depending on the angle of light, presents pastel tones such as blue, green, yellow, and pink. Beautiful, three-piece set of artistically crafted glass objects from a traditional glassworks. The delicate goblets are true masterpieces of craftsmanship: they are hand-blown (marked with the original gold label “hand-blown”) and feature fascinating, organic color transitions in earthy, reddish, and pastel hues. With an extremely light weight of only about 50 grams per glass and the ultra-thin workmanship, the objects appear particularly elegant and weightless. Each glass is an absolute unique piece due to its manual production. One of the glasses stands out with an intricately curved, spirally formed foot. The goblets are excellent as noble decorative objects, solitary vases for single flowers, or as collectibles for lovers of fine glass art. Details & measurements: • Manufacturer / Atelier: Glass • Manufacturing method: 100% hand-blown, handcrafted (unique pieces) • Weight: approx. 50 g each (very light, fine art glass) • Glass 1 (Large, straight foot): Height: 25 cm | Maximum diameter: 6.5 cm • Glass 2 (Medium, straight foot, bulbous bowl): Height: 24 cm | Maximum diameter: 5 cm • Glass 3 (Small, curved/spiral foot): Height: 19 cm | Maximum diameter: 7 cm • Condition: Very good, well cared for, with original labels (see photos). No visible damage or chipping The objects are studio/ art glass from the late decades of the 20th century (c. 1970s to 1990s). In this era, such ultra-thin, colored fantasy glasses and table vases with organic patterns (often in the style of Stölzle, Eisch, or Joska) were very popular in high-end craftsmanship. The production in the glassworks furnace is extremely demanding (especially pulling the spiraled foot with only 50 g total weight).
