Jaroslav Svoboda - Boheems Kristal - Sculpture

A special and rare sculptural glass object by the renowned Czech glass artist Jaroslav Svoboda, crafted from high-quality Bohemian crystal. This handmade piece stands out not only for its powerful, abstract form and the intense orange-red color accent, but especially for its unique construction. The object rests on a round, curved base, allowing it to move freely and gently rock like a seesaw. This causes the character of the piece to continually change when touched or when placed on a stable surface. The combination of clear crystal, color, geometric shape, and movement makes this a striking design object that can be considered both glass art and sculpture. Jaroslav Svoboda belongs to the well-known generation of Czech glass artists who gained international fame for innovative techniques and sculptural applications of glass. This piece is signed. It concerns Old New Stock: an older piece from a limited remaining stock. Such objects by Svoboda are nowadays hard to obtain, and this piece is limited in availability.
