He is regarded as a visionary who has ventured into unexplored territories, creating works that are not easily codified. Javel left an initial free, gestural representation to devote himself to a experimentation in which painting itself is both method and object of representation. Moving through several stylistic phases, he has developed a distinctive way of painting that plays with the very material. In his career he reworked colors used by past artists, mastering them in precise composite portions, diligently exploring the reading of daily life and the fleeting dimensions of existence to fix them in time.
