Jean COCTEAU (1889–1963) — Anthropomorphic glazed ceramic vase decorated with a stylized face, in shades of pinkish white, terracotta, green, and red. Signed “Jean Cocteau” on the reverse. Underneath the base, handwritten inscriptions reading “Édition originale Jean Cocteau” and “Atelier Madeline-Jolly,” and numbered 33/50. 20th century. Has a chip and has been repaired. Height: 28.5 cm Diameter: 16 cm Weight: 860 grs
