Shards of Freedom Against a bold blue, almost electric background, the portrait of a woman stands out, her face three-quarters turned, eyes hidden behind large square glasses where a miniature horizon—sky, sea and sand—is reflected. The motif repeats and moves: the same image of the outside world captured and doubled in the model's absent gaze. Her square glasses reflect a miniature horizon: sky, sea, sand. The landscape replaces her gaze. A braided scarf in blue, green and white crowns her head. It repeats the colors of the background. Touches of aqua traverse her amber skin, like islands of light. They draw a singular geography. Silver hoops frame her face. Her slightly open mouth wears a bright red. This canvas belongs to a series of seventeen variations. It explores the hidden gaze and the exposed skin. The painting is visible in the painter's studio We deliver all our works with a certificate of authenticity and an invoice.
