Damstra gained wide recognition for his many duck families by the water's edge, which he depicted in a very realistic manner, with Constant Artz being his great teacher and role model. Although Damstra did not really contribute much to Artz, the prices of his paintings never reached Artz's level. The work is in good condition and signed bottom right.
