Chess set of REGENCE type from the famous Parisian cafe, king 105 mm, board included. King size: 105 mm; the pawns: 60 mm. Delivered with a backgammon board included with the set (please allow for replacement of the defective inner mat). Material: boxwood and stained black. Dating from: 1930–1950. Origin: France; complete with all 32 pieces. Characteristic: the set is in very good condition. Wooden box is the backgammon board (included with the set). Characteristic: magnificent knights with glass eyes. Please study all the photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description. My sets are vintage, old or antique, used, with normal wear reflecting their history. Some have stood for over 100–150 years: that is what gives them their charm and authenticity.
