Lot of 7 Vintage and Collectible Jewellery Boxes and Trinket Boxes - Limoges porcelain, Volterra alabaster, music box, and Italian Art Manufactures (1950s-1980s) Fascinating and varied collectible lot consisting of 7 vintage coin/pill boxes and trinket boxes from the second half of the 20th century. The collection ranges from precious European porcelains (notably an authentic piece from the French Limoges manufactory) to natural stone carvings and refined musical objects. All pieces have been carefully examined: the structure of each individual box is perfectly intact, with no cracks, chips, or restorations. 1. Emptying-the-wallet Little Box "Porcellane d'Arte Agostinelli" Manufacture / Origin: S.N.C. Porcellane d'Arte Agostinelli - Bassano del Grappa, Italy (original stamp on the bottom). Era: 1960s / 1970s. • Material: Enamelled porcelain with gold trim and vermeil finish. Dimensions: External diameter about 8.5 cm; inner mouth diameter 5 cm. Description and Condition: Characterized by a beautiful pale aqua/turquoise green hue with elegant gold incised naturalistic motifs and a leaf-shaped gold-plated knob. Structure intact. Note a very small wear spot / loss of gilding along the circular line of the lid (visible in photo), due to age. 2. Imperial Style Jewelry Box "Type Limoge" with Hinge Manufacture / Origin: Italian manufactory (Veneto/Tuscany), decorated in Limoges style (stamp "Decore Tipo Limoge" with crown on the bottom). Era: 1960s / 1970s. Material: Porcelain and solid-brass fitting (mark "G.S.E. ottone garantito" engraved on the hinge). Dimensions: Diameter about 8 cm. Description and Condition: Elegant floral and fan-shaped geometric pattern in cobalt blue and gold on white background. Snap closure and hinge are solid and functional. Porcelain is flawless with no chips; minor and normal oxidation/patina points on the brass surface. 3. Mini Pill Box / Ring Holder with Classic Rose Manufacture / Origin: Anonymous European manufactory (no signature on the bottom). Era: 1970s. Material: Porcelain and alloy metal gold-tone frame. Dimensions: Diameter/Circumference about 3 cm (miniature). Description and Condition: Lid decorated with a central pink rose, surrounded by gold damascened profiles. Interior is perfect, no defects; front floral three-dimensional clasp is solid and snaps shut perfectly. Widespread tarnish/oxidation on the outer metal frame is noticeable. 4. Jewelry Box "Pierrot and Hearts" in Natural Stone Manufacture / Origin: Italian artistic manufactory, attributed to Volterra tradition. Era: 1960s / 1970s. Material: Fine natural veined alabaster (amber/cream color) and metal. Dimensions: 8 x 8 cm. Description and Condition: The lid features the iconic melancholic Pierrot face with a tear, surrounded by red hearts. The stone (notoriously soft and delicate) is remarkably intact, with no chips or fissures. The hinge is very sturdy and moves smoothly. Note some areas of gilding loss on parts of the metal profile. 5. Figurine Box "Sleeping Cat" Manufacture / Origin: AF Porcelain (import/decorative mark on the bottom). Era: 1980s. Material: Glazed porcelain. Dimensions: About 7–8 cm. Description and Condition: Charming lid shaped like a curled sleeping cat, with raised whisker details under the glaze and black-painted eyes. The back features a burgundy floral motif. Opens freely (no hinge). Excellent condition, near mint, with no signs of wear. 6. High-Quality Oval Box "Limoges France" (Signed) Manufacture / Origin: F.M. (Fontanille & Marraud) - Porcelaine Artistique Limoges, France (official stamps and the inscription "Fabriqué et Décoré à Limoges" in gold on the bottom). Era: 1950s / 1960s. Material: Fine Limoges porcelain. Dimensions: About 4 cm. Description and Condition: Collectors’ piece with a wavy profile and a resting lid. Features a bucolic impressionist landscape executed with exquisite finesse and hand-signed by the artist "Gollip" on the lower-left. Museum-grade: porcelain, enamels, and inscriptions are in perfect, defect-free condition. 7. Heart-Shaped Musical Jewelry Box "Princess Sissi" Manufacture / Origin: European vintage manufactory (inspired by the Austrian historical souvenir tradition). Era: 1970s / 1980s. Material: Porcelain/glass paste, interior lined with fabric, metal, and rhinestones. Dimensions: Width about 8 cm. Description and Condition: A product of romantic charm, decorated on the lid with the famous portrait of Empress Elisabeth of Austria (Sissi) by Winterhalter, framed by gold reliefs and green rhinestones. The motif repeats on the sides. The interior features a jewelry compartment lined in blue. Mechanism: The music box is fully functional. The spring wind mechanism (at the bottom) is smooth but delicate, and the melody plays correctly. The front snap closure is enhanced with a small metal bow and functions well; the rear hinge is slightly stiff to open, and the metal shows the natural time patina. No chips on the porcelain.
