Engraved repoussé sterling silver jewelry box, oval in shape with claw-footed feet. The lid features raised decorations in repoussé depicting a Royal life scene: the monarchs being carried in a carriage drawn by two horses, with the royal guards behind them, and crowds of people waving their handkerchiefs, florally patterned all around them, typical of the period from the late 19th to the early 20th century. It rests on small feet shaped like paws with claws and has a hinged mount on the back; the bottom is wood. On the exterior are visible the usual English hallmarks: the Lion, the letter (C), and the letter (h). Total weight 78 grams.
