Jewellery box - Storage box with "Sirin" decor

Hand-painted Russian lacquer box with a mythological motif featuring Sirin as the main character. Sirin is a beautiful woman with a bird's body. She symbolizes eternal joy and heavenly happiness. Her wings are inlaid with mother-of-pearl, creating a shiny reflection when moved. I can't capture this in the photos. Nice warm tones. It is in a pristine, undamaged state. The hinge is also fine and the lid closes properly. The dimensions are approximately: Height: 3.5 cm Length: 16 cm Width: 10.5 cm Weight: 136 g

Estimate:£118.61
