Durand Up for sale is a stunning, premium quality vintage crystal serving set manufactured in France by the world-renowned J.G. Durand (Cristal d'Arques). This set belongs to the iconic "Florence" collection (launched in 1986), famous for its sculptural design featuring beautiful embossed frosted (satin-finished) flower petals contrasted against brilliant, clear lead crystal. A truly unique aspect of this set is a personalized, hand-engraved French inscription on the ice bucket: "Roger et Berthe. Noces de Rubis", indicating this was originally a 35th Ruby Wedding Anniversary gift in France, adding a wonderful touch of romantic European history. The 4-Piece Set Includes: 1. Ice Bucket / Tureen: Heavy crystal bucket with integrated side handles and the custom anniversary engraving. 3. Divided Serving Dish (Appetizer/Relish Tray): Round sectional dish divided into 4 compartments, featuring the frosted petal motif on the base. 4. Durand / Cristal d'Arques. • Collection: Florence / Florence Satine. • Material: 24% Lead Crystal (Cristal au plomb) — heavy, exceptionally clear, and catches the light beautifully with a signature crystal ring.
