Jo Schrijnder (1894-1968) - Opvliegende eenden in ochtendrood landschap

Josephus Alphonsus (Jo) Schrijnder lived and worked in Druten, Haaksbergen, Nijmegen, Voorhout, Grootebroek and Amstelveen. Schrijnder is especially known for his paintings depicting hunting and game. He also made ornaments, symbolic wall decorations and stained-glass windows for, among others, the town hall of Grootebroek where he served as mayor. The work of Schrijnder is in the collections of collectors and museums. Dawn-red landscape with ducks taking flight!! Canvas size 50x60 cm, canvas oriented wrongly but in good condition. No craquelure. The dark spots on the back of the canvas are due to varnish bleed-through (no problems or restorations). The frame is in good condition with minor signs of use/ageing, and is included with the work free of charge. Work is carefully packed and shipped internationally by registered mail.
