The work discusses the history of Bavaria from antiquity up to the author’s time, drawing on both ancient sources and medieval traditions, including on the early history of the Germanic tribes. With a full-page woodcut portrait of the author. In a contemporary very well-preserved pigskin leather binding with blind embossing. One clasp is included loosely. The binding is slightly rubbed and the corners and edges show minor bumps. Partly with a few stains. At the beginning there is a water stain, further back there are some moisture traces.
