This design was the final poster created by Gilroy for Guinness, bringing to a close one of the most celebrated partnerships in British advertising history. Characteristic of his humorous and instantly recognisable style, here we see the playful visual wit that helped establish the graphic identity of the Guinness brand. A closely related version of the design, without the accompanying slogan, is held in the Guinness Archive. Condition Report, Condition Report, Light rippling.
