Johnny Pesky professional model baseball bat c.1950s

Johnny Pesky professional model baseball bat c.1950s. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Pesky facsimile signature in the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 34.6oz. Model number is stamped in the knob and while a touch hard to decipher it appears to read "L16." Evident use includes contact marks throughout and there was tape removed from the handle (with resulting residue). There is heavy additional wear throughout the entire barrel which includes indentations, some chips/nicks, and the barrel end shows some moisture damage. A deceptively scarce bat related to one of the Red Sox all-time greats. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions: GD-VG

Estimate:£300.38
