Jonathan Wain (XX) - BULL DESTROYER - XXL - No Reserve

Bull Destroyer by J Wain Acrylic and spray paint on canvas Original painting on canvas. Shipped rolled and unstretched in a protective tube. Signed on the front JW26 123x98cm XXL The central bull emerges as a confrontational, prophetic figure, surrounded by diamonds, explosive marks and layers of gestural paint. The phrase “if you harm no one you will fear no one” runs across the upper section of the painting, functioning both as a warning and as a statement of moral power. The work combines acrylic paint, spray paint and grease pencil, with aggressive gestural marks, drips, symbols and scraped passages built up across the canvas. The composition follows the visual structure developed in an earlier work Snake on Treasure, but transforms the subject from serpent to bull and from concealed threat to direct confrontation. All images showing the artwork framed are mock ups and are for illustration purposes only, the painting is sold unframed.
