Edition: Unique and Original Work. - Condition: Excellent. Maintains the intensity and strength of the original pigments. Original period matting and black wooden frame with natural patina. - Description of the work: Exceptional work by the renowned Vigo master José (Xosé Telmo) Lodeiro, a fundamental figure of the vanguard and the renewal of Galician art in the 20th century (historic member of the Atlántica movement). The piece is a breathtaking study of light and color captured by the artist facing the sea at the Samil promenade: a vibrant sunset over the Vigo estuary with the silhouette of the Cíes Islands on the horizon. - Lodeiro synthesizes the Atlantic landscape into horizontal bands of strong emotional density, confronting the deep blues of the estuary with a top band lit in reds and oranges like fire. Key authenticity and provenance points: - The back of the frame still preserves the original period sealing paper and contains a handwritten dedication signed by the painter himself: "Para Óscar y Teresa, e hijos, con cariño y José Lodeiro" This dedication and the artist’s handwritten signature not only confirm the unquestionable authorship of the work, but also grant it a direct provenance from a private collection, fully guaranteeing the buyer. A museum piece, with a Galician identity stamp and an impeccable historical-artistic value. Ready to hang and display.
