Elegant portrait of a Parisian lady from the 19th century – Oil on canvas Model in a semi-profile, in a noble and dignified pose, dressed in an elegant brick-bordeaux dress enriched by a lace collar with a gold brooch. The face is treated with great finesse: luminous complexion, very soft transitions between light and shadow and finely modeled, characteristics of French academic painting of the period. The hairstyle and fashion correspond to the refined Parisian aesthetic of the late 19th century. On the back there is an antique label from a French framer.
