The work, structured in five books and distributed across three tomes, addresses numerous questions of civil and Roman law through extensive analysis of the sources, with references to the legal tradition and doctrine. Neapolitan edition of 1777, printed by Giuseppe Campo at the expense of Vincenzo de Aloysio. The three volumes feature elegant title pages with print in red and black, ornamental frames, decorated initials, typographic headers and index apparatus. The text is entirely in Latin, arranged in two columns across various sections. Uniform antique bindings, with rigid boards covered in parchment and spines decorated in black and gold, bearing the author's name, the abbreviated title Jus Civile, and the volume numbering. Conditions Exemplar in discreet condition, with evident signs of age and use. The bindings show widespread abrasions, wear to the spines, losses of the black cover, superficial gaps, rubbing at the corners and margins. The pages show browning, foxing and stains of varying intensity, including some traces of old damp. The print is generally readable. There are typographic decorations and indices. This is a set of three volumes of notable interest for collectors of old books, scholars of Roman law, history of law and Italian legal culture of the eighteenth century. The photographs constitute an integral part of the description and document the actual condition of the exemplar.
