All auctions / Contemporary Art / Jovan Srijemac (1962) - General X - XXL
A unique large abstract painting from the series 'Abstract face' with total canvas size (including extra white borders) 120 x 105 x 0.1 cm. The work was painted in 2026. The painting will be shipped rolled, without a stretcher frame. Once mounted on the frame, the canvas size (image) is 110 x 95 x 2 cm. The dynamism, expression, and freedom of the artist's artistic expression are clearly visible. NOTE: For buyers in the Netherlands who wish to pick up the painting themselves, it is possible, by arrangement and for a fee, to have the canvas stretched onto the stretcher frame. In this work I released my deepest emotions, causing bold colors and strong brushstrokes to intersect in a dynamic dance. From the chaos, a sense of harmony arises. The paint is applied expressively in multiple layers with a lot of dynamism on canvas. The work is painted with acrylic paint on XXL canvas. Varnished, and with a certificate of authenticity. Original, very unique abstract expressionist work by Dutch professional/contemporary artist (since the early 1980s) Jovan Srijemac (1962). This work fits well in a modern interior or office space. Condition: excellent, varnished, with certificate of authenticity. The chaos of ideas that have arisen in my mind—the inner, exhausted energy—wants to erupt, like a volcano, into an explosion and a symphony of colors on the canvas, framed with matter, figures, faces, or an abstract composition. From the unconscious, often chaotic and explosive application of paint to the canvas, initially unplanned figures, objects, portraits, or an abstract composition arise. Just as in the unplanned conception of a child: birth, growing up, to personality formation and its life. Often conceived unintentionally, we are born, we grow up, and we are all framed in the body, our frame, but each is unique in its own way.
