All auctions / Contemporary Art / Jovan Srijemac (1962) - There is something above the water - XXL
Unique large abstract painting with total canvas size (with extra white borders) 105 x 130 x 01 cm. The work was painted in 2026. The painting will be shipped rolled, without a stretch frame. Once mounted on the frame, the canvas size (image) is approximately 95 x 120 x 2 cm. In this work I released my deepest emotions, causing bold colors and strong brushstrokes to cross each other in a dynamic dance. Through the chaos, a sense of harmony emerges. The work is painted with acrylic paint on XXL canvas. Paint is applied in several expressive layers with much dynamism on the canvas. The dynamism, expression, and freedom of the artist’s artistic expression are clearly visible. NOTE: For buyers from the Netherlands who want to collect the painting themselves, it is possible by arrangement and for a fee to have the canvas stretched on the frame stretcher. Original, very unique abstract expressionist work by Dutch professional/contemporary artist (since the early 1980s) Jovan Srijemac (1962). This work fits well in a modern interior or office space. Condition of the work is excellent, varnished, with certificate of authenticity. The chaos of ideas that have arisen in my mind, the inner deprived energy, wants to come out like a volcano, becoming an explosion and a symphony of colors on the canvas, framed with matter, figures, faces, or an abstract composition. From the unconscious, often chaotic and explosive application of paint to the canvas, initial unplanned figures, objects, portraits, or an abstract composition arise. Like the unplanned conception of a child: birth, growing up, to personality formation and life. Often unconsciously conceived, we are born, we grow up, and we are all framed in the body, our frame, but each is unique in its own way.
