All auctions / Contemporary Art / Jovan Srijemac (1962) - Urban Jungle - (XXL)
Unique abstract expressionist large painting with a total large canvas size (with extra white edges) 120 x 105 x 01 cm. The work was painted in 2026. The painting will be shipped rolled, without a stretch frame. Once mounted on the frame, the canvas size (image) is 110 x 95 x 2 cm. In this work I released my deepest emotions, causing bold colors and dynamic color addition on canvas to cross each other in a dynamic dance. From the chaos arises a sense of harmony. Paint is applied on canvas with a palette knife - with acrylic paint on XXL canvas. Varnished, and with a certificate of authenticity. For info: For buyers from the Netherlands who want to pick up the painting themselves, it is possible by arrangement and for a fee to have the canvas stretched on a frame. The dynamics, expression, and freedom of the artist’s expression are clearly visible. This work fits well in a modern interior or office space. Condition of the work is excellent, varnished, with a certificate of authenticity. Original, very unique abstract expressionist work by Dutch professional/contemporary artist (since the early 1980s) Jovan Srijemac (1962). Over more than 40 years as an artist, Jovan has sold his work worldwide to private collectors and companies. In his long career as an artist he has also been exhibited at various art fairs. Jovan works 7 days a week, in his own Art Studio/Gallery in the Netherlands. The chaos of ideas that have arisen in my head, the inner depraved energy, wants to come out like a volcano, turning into an explosion and a symphony of colors on the canvas, framed by matter, figures, faces, or an abstract composition. From the unconscious, often chaotic and explosive application of paint on the canvas, figures, objects, portraits or an abstract composition arise in the beginning unplanned. As in the unplanned conception of a child: birth, growing up, to personality formation and life. Often unplanned conceived, we are born, grow up, and we are all framed in the body, our frame, but each is unique in its own way.
