Jugendstil Tile - Rako, Rakovník - Art Nouveau - 1900-1910

A remarkable antique Art Nouveau tile made by: Rako, Rakovník, Czech Republic. The factory was established in 1886. The decoration of berries and leaf motifs is applied in relief using a dust-pressed technique in which clay powder is pressed under high pressure into a mold. The tile is in good condition with a beautiful bright glaze. The tile has a damage in the upper left corner, and some scratches in the red glaze, clearly visible in the pictures. The back is marked RAKO. I pack the tile(s) with great care. I ship my packages with DHL or PostNL. All packages come with a track & trace number.
