Julia Treutiger - Wall sconce - Vintage wall sconce...

Rare and iconic vintage wall lamp from the GYLLEN series, marketed by IKEA in the late 1990s. This model features a highly colorful geometric and abstract motif characteristic of Pop Art, designed by the famous Swedish designer Julia Treutiger. The fixture consists of a thick pane of silk-screened glass, mounted on a white metal frame. It emits a soft, graphic, and warm light, ideal for adding a retro-design touch to your interior. Very good vintage condition, the glass shows no chips or cracks (see photos for details of condition). The electrical system has been checked by a professional and so that you can enjoy your Merveille immediately, the bulbs will be provided free of charge. As with all my items listed for auction on this site, this wonder has undergone no cleaning (just dusting) or modifications since its purchase. Happy bidding to all. Please look carefully at the photos which are part of the description. Any damage not mentioned in the text but visible in the photos is considered described. No shipment outside the EU; if you are outside the European Union you can bid on one of my lots however no claims will be possible in case of problems during transport. Given the new import/export regulations to the USA there will be no shipping to that country anymore. Careful professional shipping, with track-and-signature on delivery and insurance.
