Obstetrics Chair oil on canvas, unframed 158 x 160cm, Condition Report The canvas is largely in plane, though there is a divot depresion to the edge of the lower right quadrant and nearby an area of abraded paint. There is likewise a small depression to the chair. The tension of the canvas is relatively slack. Most notably, there is a tear located to the upper right quadrant. There is a small area of paint loss to the edge of the upper right quadrant and another area of loss along the bottom edge, this appears to be where the artist has used tape to create striations on the canvas and this has begun to lift. There are three glossy accretions located above the chair and multiple surface abrasions and scuffs noted throughout, these are most visible along the lower edge. The work appears to be signed with initials to the reverse of the stretcher. Will require some work, please see additional images. Condition Report, Please register to request a condition report
