Story & Heritage Junghans is one of Germany’s most important historic watch manufacturers. Founded in Schramberg in 1861, the company became one of the world's major watch producers and developed a strong reputation for precise, reliable and thoughtfully designed mechanical timepieces. During the 1950s, Junghans embraced the clean lines and restrained elegance that defined post-war European design. Watches from this period often combined slim cases, elongated indexes and highly legible dials, creating an aesthetic that remains attractive decades later. This example captures that design language particularly well. The unusual elongated 12 and 6 numerals, slender markers, warm silver dial and gold plated case create a distinctly mid-century appearance. A refined vintage Junghans for collectors who appreciate classic German mechanical watchmaking, authentic patina and elegant 1950s design. Internal Reference Number - FLO-145
