Jurassic Jewellery Sterling Silver Pendant with...

Section with dendritic sutures — A jewel born from the heart of the Earth and from the memory of the sea. This refined 925 silver pendant frames an exceptional fossil specimen of Cleoniceras from Madagascar, characterized by an extraordinary iridescent surface that shows opalescent reflections in shades of red, orange and coppery gold. This is a natural fossilization phenomenon known as ammolite, where the aragonitic structure of the ammonite shell, over millions of years, transformed into an opalescent mineral capable of refracting light in unique chromatic play. Each specimen is unrepeatable, with a palette of colors that changes depending on the angle and light intensity, reminiscent of the depth of fire and the fluidity of water. The glossy silver frames the fossil spiral with sober and contemporary lines, letting the natural beauty of the gem remain the absolute protagonist. This pendant unites geology, time, and jewelry art in a single object, transforming an ancient form of marine life into a symbol of transformation and eternal light. Each ammonite tells the story of a lost ocean and the slow miracle of stone becoming gem.
