He began painting in 2014 and had his first exhibitions. In 2015 followed his first solo show. Since then he has continuously developed his technique. Several exhibitions and workshops have followed to this day. Particular emphasis is placed by Jürgen Angeler on Informal Painting, a form of modern art that emerged in the 1940s/1950s. The blend of spontaneity (impulse setting) and chance (drip painting, squeegee withdrawal) plays a decisive role. At the end of the creative process is a finished painting that expresses the tension built up during the process. Jürgen Angeler looks back on successful exhibitions in Germany, Italy, and Austria. His paintings are in collections in several European countries, the USA, Hong Kong, and Japan. Selected exhibitions: - Participation with two paintings at "cosmo GRAFIE" in Rome, Italy. Curated by Eva Czerkl - Involvement in the Elledorado Art Charity at the Schwules Museum, Berlin (patroness: Claudia Roth, Vice President of the Bundestag) - Solo exhibition "Made in Germany" at the Kulturei Mainz (Citadel), Germany
