JVSculptures - Javi Villarroel Seoane - Stand...

This plinth, crafted in steel, is defined by a geometry of precise calculation that folds and rises in a continuous gesture. Its challenging shape generates a visual tension that makes it especially enveloping, inviting you to circle it and discover how each plane relates to the next. This quality allows it to be placed on any of its faces, generating different silhouettes and formal readings depending on its position. The piece seems to defy gravity: the central twist tightens its structure and shifts the weight, creating the illusion of an almost impossible balance. More than a support, it presents itself as an sculptural element that activates space and adds a contemporary presence, where matter turns into movement. Technical data: Material: Steel Finish: Black paint Dimensions: 100x20x20 Shipping: Any country (inquire about duties outside the EU) Rigid double-wall cardboard box, reinforcements and fragility marked. Hand-signed More than steel, more than art: Javi Villarroel Seoane develops his work through different sculptural avenues and furniture design, finding in surreal figurative sculpture the deepest expression of his creative identity. From this vision he builds a universe of his own in which technical precision and artistic sensitivity converge to transform steel into pieces of great expressiveness, balance, and sophistication. His bond with metal has been forged over more than twenty years, ranging from mechanical fabrication design to underwater welding, among many other things, which has allowed him to push metal to complex physical limits. This artistic language has quickly positioned him as one of the Spanish sculptors with greater international projection. The notable advance of his career has rested on a dual engine: growing international success and a firm position in institutional circles. His work is part of private collections in twenty European countries, the United Kingdom, and Asia. He has participated in auctions alongside major figures in art history such as Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró, and his work has been featured in specialized publications such as Ars Magazine and international art platforms like The Edge of Humanity Magazine. Likewise, his inclusion in the collective reference book "Euskal Eskultura Gaur II" ratified his status as one of the renewers of the vanguard of contemporary Basque sculpture. His exhibition journey includes numerous national showcases, including the select collective show "20 eskultore," held at the institutional headquarters of the Juntas Generales of Bizkaia (Bilbao, Bizkaia) and the exclusive solo exhibition "Apoteosis del Ser Humano," sponsored by the BK ETL Global fiscal group, held at the Grand Hyatt La Manga Club luxury hotel, Cartagena (Murcia), within the framework of the Annual Assembly of the International Road Transport Association (ASTIC). His work has been recognized with an entrepreneurship award granted by the Bilbao City Council in collaboration with Mayor Juan Mari Aburto. In short, Villarroel’s sculpture and sculptural furniture lead us into a universe where the intangible takes shape.
