An unusual large and exceptionally high quality antique Chinese porcelain ewer with a central decoration of Two Standing Formal Ladies and Insects, Lotus, Peonies and Chrysanthemum in lotus petal shaped panels, covered in a nice underglaze cobalt blue and white glaze. In the border cloud patterns. Handcrafted in ancient Imperial China during the Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (ca. 1690). On the backside an unglazed foot rim, marked with the single character Yu (Jade). Guaranteed original and of the stated period. Including silver lid from the 17th/18th century Height: 17,5 centimeter Condition: The ewer is in perfect condition, although there appears to be damage under the silver mounts of ther handle. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light. Shipping method: This lot will be securely packed and shipped with insurance, without stand.
