Kangxi (1662-1722) - Plate - Peonies

A lovely large antique Chinese porcelain plate with a central decoration of Peonies, Chrysanthemum, Plum Blossom, Persimmon and Insects, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white. In the border a classical decoration of repetitive lotus petal cartouches and Cracked Ice and Plum Blossom Border. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (ca. 1700). Guaranteed original and of the stated period. On the reverse a square mark in double circles and well painted plum blossom branches. Diameter: 20,8 centimeter. Condition: The object is in good condition, minute glaze- and mouse bites and two hairlines, without any restorations.
