An unusual large antique Chinese porcelain ewer with a central decoration of Four Ladies with a Bat in Pavilion Landscape and Lotus and Roots in long panels, covered in a nice underglaze cobalt blue and white glaze. In the border geometrical and meandering root patterns. Handcrafted in ancient Imperial China during the Qing dynasty, Kangxi to Yongzheng period (ca. 1720-1735). On the backside an unglazed foot rim. Guaranteed original and of the stated period. Please note that this ewer has a very remarkable sprout, with serrated border that ensures a continuous liquid flow, even when spilled. We don't know the exact purpose of this type of sprout but we've never seen this before.
