A lovely antique rare melon shaped Chinese porcelain teapot with a central decoration of Large Tulips, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white with overglaze Iron red gold. In the border a classical decoration of Ruyi Heads and Blossoms. An elegantly shaped ear and sturdy sprout. Handcrafted in ancient Imperial China during the Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (ca. 1700). Guaranteed original and of the stated period. Including original lid! Length: 14,0 centimeter In very good condition (see condition report below): Condition report: On the pictures are reflections of the light used for photography and maybe some dirt or baking imperfections visible, please note that they might look like chips/hairlines or restorations but they are not; unless mentioned below. A careful description of the condition: The object is in very good condition, two (glaze) bites on the sprout only, a clean sound when tapped. No hairlines or restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light. Shipping method: This lot will be securely packed and shipped with insurance, without stand.
