A lovely antique Chinese porcelain very rare mallet shaped teapot with a central decoration of Peonies and Chrysanthemum in Different Stages of Bloom amidst Foliage, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white. In the border a classical decoration of floral patterns. An elegantly shaped ear and sturdy sprout. Handcrafted in ancient Imperial China during the Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (1662-1722). Guaranteed original and of the stated period. Including the original lid. Length: 10,3 centimeter Condition: The teapot and lid are in perfect condition, no damages or restorations. Minor glaze deterioration. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
