Karnes City, Texas. $10 1902 Plain Back. Fr. 633. Karnes County NB.

Karnes City, Texas. $10 1902 Plain Back. Fr. 633. Karnes County NB. Charter #5614. PCGS Banknote Fine 12. Representative of a tough charter number from Karnes County which records only 16 non-institutional notes in the National Bank Note Census. This well-circulated $10 Plain Back issued by the Karnes County National Bank (Charter#5614) is every bit the technical superior to the weathered Series of 1882 $5 Date Back which sold as part of our Summer 2026 Global Showcase Auction (Lot 21242) a few months back. Here one may behold evidence of honest circulation while extant signatures attributable to Cashier H.W. Isensee and President T.D. Ruckman collectively offer an impression seldom seen among well-circulated Nationals from Texas making this a great prospect for the collector looking to represent this already tough bank in a collection of Texas Nationals. PCGS Banknote comments "Stained." Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500. Provenance: From the Jack Copeland Currency Collection, Part IV. Click here for certification details from PCGS Banknote.
