A cream-colored ground and a richly ornamented central medallion in warm terracotta tones define this hand-knotted Kashmir silk rug. Fine flowers, curved leaves and branching vines fill the interior field. Beige, brown and bluish-gray details complete the color composition. Two smaller decorative ornaments above and below the medallion emphasize the symmetrical arrangement. Terracotta-colored corner areas with curved outlines echo the medallion color and frame the light interior field. A broad cream-border with large flowers and climbing leaves frames the oriental rug. Several narrow ornamental bands complement the detailed design. With dimensions of 248 × 170 cm, this rectangular silk rug is suitable for a seating area in the living room or a generous reading nook. Cream-colored upholstery reflect the light base tone, while warm wooden furniture underscore the earthy accents.
