Katarzyna Gatkiewicz (XX) - 7/11/2018

A higher plane of grays penetrates the interior of the red, almost as if devouring it little by little Born in Warsaw in 1960, she began her artistic life as a painter from a young age, art being essential in the heart of her family, with her own father the one who introduced her. But in adulthood she focused on a career as an environmental protection engineer, with painting remaining her main hobby. Only in recent years has it become her primary activity. Her abstract work creates almost architectural spaces filled with saturated colors. None of her paintings has a title, only a date and the inspiration that each one provokes in us when we contemplate it. She signs as Mika. Let us enjoy her work.
