Keith Haring - Keith Haring – Montreux Jazz Festival 1983

Keith Haring – Montreux Jazz Festival 1983 Poster One of the most recognizable images created by Keith Haring, produced for the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival. Created in 1983, this vibrant design perfectly captures Haring’s energetic visual language: bold black lines, bright colors, dancing figures, and a sense of movement that feels almost musical. The intertwined figures seem to pulse with rhythm, making it a natural fit for one of the world’s most celebrated jazz festivals. During the 1980s, Keith Haring became one of the defining artists of the New York art scene, alongside figures such as Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol. His instantly recognizable imagery bridged the worlds of street art, contemporary art, music, and popular culture. The Montreux Jazz Festival posters have become highly collectible in their own right, with many editions commissioned from some of the most important artists of the twentieth century.
