Vase by Leon Delfant (LD) and "MB" (Maurice Baugard, Bougard or Bourdon?), decorator and collaborator for Charles Catteau. Numbered on the vase D.1093 but listed in the Catteau KBF Belgian Heritage collection. Body enhanced with a brown and a black filet. Base outlined with a black filet. Vase height decorated with three rows of three superimposed medallions, but offset, all adorned with three stylized flowers standing out on a solid brown background traversed by ochre arabesques. Material: fine tin-glazed earthenware Technique: molded form. Decoration with printed contours enhanced with ochre slip and filled with matte glazes in brown, orange, black, yellow and brown on a white background. Interior glazed black. Workshop: Boch.
