Kirsty Wain (XX) - Cerulean Reverie (Olive Tree Series) - No Reserve

Title Suggestion: Cerulean Reverie (Olive Tree Series) Artist: Kirsty Wain Medium: Acrylic on canvas, unstretched Year: 2026 Signature: Signed on the lower right ("Wain 26") This striking original work belongs to Kirsty Wain’s signature Olive Tree Series. Painted in her distinct Neo-Fauvist style, the piece celebrates expressive mark-making, rhythmic lines, and vibrant color harmonies. The painting centers on an ancient, gnarled olive tree whose sculptural trunk and sprawling branches dominate the canvas in vibrant electric blues, teals, and rich violet contours. Set against a luminous, warm pink and lavender sky with glimpses of white-washed Mediterranean architecture in the background, the composition balances bold contrast with poetic energy. Wain’s confident brushwork brings movement and vital rhythm to the foliage and textured bark. Total Canvas Size: 80 × 100 cm Painted Image Area: 70 × 90 cm Border: Includes a generous 5 cm unpainted canvas border on all sides to allow for seamless stretching and custom framing. Shipping: Shipped safely rolled in a protective tube Please note: Any images showing the artwork framed are mock-ups for illustration purposes. Frame not included About the Artist Kirsty Wain is a British painter currently living and working in Spain. Deeply connected to the Mediterranean landscape, her work offers an expressive, emotive interpretation of the surrounding environment. Drawing strong inspiration from Post-Impressionism and the bold colour theory of Fauvism, Wain uses vibrant hues, textured application, and fluid line work to capture the intrinsic energy, spirit, and light of a location. Her paintings, frequently focused on ancient olive groves, hillside pines, and sweeping terrains—seek to translate fleeting personal moments and deep emotional ties to place directly onto the canvas. Wain’s distinct visual language continues to gain international visibility, and her paintings are held in private collections around the world. ´ I love colour. I love nature. I love art. Together, they are my language. ´ K Wain 2025 Artist Profile & Education Background: British contemporary landscape painter based in Spain, combining her artistic practice with a long-standing career in art education.
