Kirsty Wain (XX) - Pine Tree Forest, Altea - No Reserve

Artist: Kirsty Wain Title: Pine Tree Forest, Altea Series: Luminous Pine Tree Series Medium: Acrylic on unstretched canvas Dimensions: 70 x 90 cm Signature: Hand-signed and dated lower right ("Wain 26") Style: Neo-Fauvist / Expressionist Offered directly from the artist, this vibrant work titled Pine Tree Forest, Altea is a captivating example of modern Neo-Fauvist Expressionism by Kirsty Wain. Part of her signature Luminous Pine Tree Series, this original painting translates the Mediterranean landscape of Altea into a striking symphony of bold colour and rhythmic form. Wain reimagines the traditional pine forest through an intense palette of electric magenta, rich violet, warm ochre, and deep turquoise. Sinuous, undulating tree trunks rhythmically dance across the composition, framed by a brilliant turquoise sky and a warm, glowing sunlit earth. The painterly brushwork and expressive contours evoke the emotional intensity of early 20th-century Fauvism, infused with a modern contemporary energy. Signature: Hand-signed by the artist on the front lower right corner ("Wain") Flexibility for Framing: Painted on unstretched canvas (70 x 90 cm), allowing for easy rolling for safe international shipping. It can easily be stretched onto a standard wooden frame by your local framer upon arrival. Provenance: Direct from the artist's studio. Deeply connected to the Mediterranean landscape, her work offers an expressive, emotive interpretation of the surrounding environment. Drawing strong inspiration from Post-Impressionism and the bold colour theory of Fauvism, Wain uses vibrant hues, textured application, and fluid line work to capture the intrinsic energy, spirit, and light of a location. Her paintings, frequently focused on ancient olive groves, hillside pines, and sweeping terrains—seek to translate fleeting personal moments and deep emotional ties to place directly onto the canvas. Wain’s distinct visual language continues to gain international visibility, and her paintings are held in private collections around the world. ´ I love colour. I love nature. I love art.
