This 12-inch Long Play (LP) record is an archival reissue of the 1938 musical comedy Knickerbocker Holiday, released by AEI Records (American Entertainment Industries, Inc.) in 1984. The recording features Walter Huston and the original cast, with music by Kurt Weill and book and lyrics by Maxwell Anderson. The album contains archival recordings from 1938 and 1945. The front of the cardboard sleeve displays original production artwork and a red circular burst highlighting track titles such as September Song. The top left corner bears the AEI logo and the text Original Archive Album, while the top right is printed with the catalog number AEI 1148 Mono. A vintage Tower Records retail sticker is present on the front cover with handwritten and stamped numbers 93 1709 and a price of 7.99. The reverse of the jacket includes comprehensive liner notes, a full cast list, and several black and white production photographs. The bottom margin of the reverse side identifies the manufacturer as American Entertainment Industries Inc. of Hollywood, California, with a copyright and phonogram date of 1984.
