Pair of original Womb Chair, Model 70, designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll. Icon of mid-20th-century modern design, these chairs represent one of Saarinen's most recognizable projects and are characterized by their distinctive enveloping shell, designed to offer a comfortable and relaxed seating position. The chairs feature a shell in stamped composite material, red leather upholstery, and a chrome metal frame, with separate cushions for the seat and back. Conditions: good vintage condition, with normal signs of wear and use visible on the leather and surfaces, consistent with the age of the items. The frame is stable and intact. Please refer to the photographs, which show the actual details and condition. Age: second half of the 20th century. Origin: United States. Designer: Eero Saarinen. Manufacturer: Knoll. Model: Womb Chair / Model 70. Materials: leather, composite material and chrome-plated metal. Color: red. Dimensions: approximately 92 × 105 × 94 cm each. Sold as a pair, these two Womb Chairs form a configuration particularly well suited for residential spaces, studios, offices, or design-focused spaces.
